Aware of the importance of civic involvement, Wendy Weir served as President of the local Chamber of Commerce and Milford Progress Inc. In addition, she serves as a mayoral appointment to the Economic Development Commission, and is a Corporator on the Board of the Milford Bank.

Wendy attended the University of Bridgeport where she completed an Associate Degree. She is married to Rich, has two married children and six grandchildren! In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family skiing and playing golf.
